Introducing our Gritty Girls Mountain Bike Club! Grades 3-8; Sundays from 1-3pm, 4/28/2019 – 6/2/2019. Dates may change due to weather.
Cost $35 for Rutland city residents; $46, non-residents. This all-girls club will encourage and promote confidence, knowledge and basic skills in a supportive team environment through games, group rides, and fun challenges.
Includes t-shirt. Equipment loan and/or bike discounts are available. Get ready to ride the trails!
An optional Killington Resort and Suicide Six day for riding will be available at a discounted rate.

We had a great morning for a mountain bike race. All ages were allowed to race. Medals were handed out to age groups 40+. Here are a few pics from today’s event.
The Carriage Trail has a logging operation going on near the top of Library Pass. Please use caution when hiking, running or mountain biking. The trail is open but please watch for very large machinery on the trail. The operation will continue into late fall.
DROOPY DOWNHILL UPDATE! The latest riders can register in person is 5:30pm on race day! This gives riders enough time to climb to the top of the race course to drop in. No riders will be dropping past 6pm. Please give yourself time to arrive, register and climb to the top. Mother Nature early fall sunsets have arrived. Thanks! Jamie Trayer

We are looking for chili and soup donations. You can drop it off at Cindi Wight’s house in a crock pot the day ahead or bring by that morning. We also need volunteers on the course.

There is a Youth Mountain bike group that starts riding June 8th on Monday and Friday nights. This is sponsored by Rutland Rec and coached by volunteers. Ride groups are established by ability levels. Each group goes out with two adult leaders. Please register for this event at
